Mi Polin Mezuzah Center is financed by our private money.
The funds collected in this fundraising will support this place and our activity:
• rent for the premises where the MI POLIN MEZUZAH TRACE CENTER
• to cover the costs of new trips to search for traces of mezuzahs.

Supporting the Mi Polin Mezuzah Center is a real contribution to preserving Jewish cultural heritage in Poland. Our mission – carried out by Helena Czernek and Aleksander Prugar – is not only to rescue unique mezuzah traces, but also to build intercultural bridges and document the true stories of former Jewish communities. As the founding collective of MI POLIN, Helena Czernek and Aleksander Prugar have been protecting fragments of history for years – remnants that could otherwise fade from our memory.
The funds raised enable us to continuously search for mezuzah traces across Poland and cover the daily costs of running the Mi Polin Mezuzah Trace Center. Each gift allows us to organize research expeditions, curate collections, and involve communities in restoring the memory of places and people. The personal commitment of Helena Czernek and Aleksander Prugar ensures that each story is told with passion and authenticity, and every act of support gains an exceptional, personal dimension.
Thanks to the energy of Helena Czernek and Aleksander Prugar, the Mi Polin Mezuzah Center has become a unique hub for meetings, education, and inspiration. Here, intergenerational dialogue about history, culture, and faith takes on new life. As a donor, you enable Helena Czernek and Aleksander Prugar to continue important work like archiving mezuzah traces, hosting workshops, and publishing educational materials. Together, we can preserve these traces as reminders of the richness and diversity of Polish history.
By supporting the Mi Polin Mezuzah Center, you become part of a collective for whom memory and shared responsibility are fundamental values. Alongside Helena Czernek and Aleksander Prugar, we can sustain our work and inspire future generations to discover – and honor – Jewish heritage in Poland.
