“ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKI SHTETL” EDUCATIONAL AND MUSEUM CENTER
The modern, multimedia “Świętokrzyski Shtetl” Educational and Museum Center was established in a renovated historic synagogue. The design is based on two structures, one of which symbolizes light—that is, the shared life of Poles and Jews before the war—and the other symbolizes shadow—that is, the Holocaust. The centerpiece of the museum is a glass bimah.

MEZUZAH TRACE
A quiet but reminder of the Jewish life that once flourished in the town. The mark left on the doorpost indicates the former entrance to a Jewish home. Mezuzah traces are rare material witnesses to the presence of Jewish families in pre-war Chmielnik. Today, the trace invites visitors to look closely at the town’s Jewish past. Private property.
